get a little organized
When I was a little girl, my mother would always say, "Everything has its place." Now she likes to remind me
that she would try to force me to pick up my toys, but I never would. She is shocked that I spend so much of
my time thinking and talking about organization AND actually doing it!
A moment of clarity hit me when I realized that creative people who are successful are not necessarily smarter
than other people - or even luckier; they are just more organized. One of the keys to being creative is knowing where
things are located or having information at your fingertips for when that genius idea hits you. You can immediately
turn around and start taking action on creating your vision. By striving to be organized, you spend less time looking
for things or feeling overwhelmed by clutter. Instead brief moments can be spent working on a new project.
Clean Sweep always serves up doses of clutter-ridding inspiration.
Take a fast 15 minutes to gather any thing that you hate or know you
could give away. Be spontaneous! Run around your house! You will feel
so much better once you drop the give-away pile off at Goodwill. Don't
you dare look back in the bags.
