Fortunehearts were my first product, which I designed in 1997. They began as a simple Valentine to an old friend. I did not want to send a greeting that implied anything romantic about our relationship. Instead, I wanted to create an element of chance through a simple message for the reader. Think of it as a cross between a fortune from a fortune cookie and a candy conversation heart.

Once cut into strips these individual hearts are 1/2” tall and include two lines. The top line is a quote with the name of the author and the bottle includes your name and date. This half-inch style is a personalized pdf of 100 different quotes, which allows you to make as many fortunehearts as like.

Although we love these in their original heart-shaped fashion, be creative. You can use these strips in a variety of ways – insert into homemade fortune cookies, personalize the outside as a place clard resting on the lip of a glass, or a decorative wrap around a gift.
